The Tentacle

Haven't you ever wanted to know what it feels like as an octopus to move those tentacles around?

Tentacles have almost unlimited range of motion, as opposed to our pitiful human arms, which rotate only around the shoulder and elbow, and only in a couple directions.

In fact, tentacles can represent practically any mathematical curve in 3d space. An octopus calculus teacher doesn't even need a blackboard to perform their lessons.

It must feel divine to move a limb like that with complete freedom of movement. Almost like it's been divorced from the tiresome laws of physics, letting you shape reality directly from your mind.

Well, guess what, you can feel it right now. Stick your tongue out and wiggle it around. And pretend it is 20x longer.

Humans may not boast the amazing eight super long tentacles of an octopus, but we do have one very serviceable and reliable tentacle, which is often overlooked. Cheers to the tongue!

Kudos to @javierbalseiro on pexels for the truly awesome and mesmerizing free tentacle photo.
